We are passionate about providing quality mental health care to better the lives of our clients. Utilizing evidence-based practices, we strive to meet our clients where they are and collaborate throughout treatment to ensure we are meeting their goals. We value the therapeutic relationship and often draw on humor throughout sessions.

Emotional healing cannot arise without community, caring relationships, and vulnerability. And… if you are in a place where you can access emotion, that belief can be terrifying. The idea of sharing our pain, and opening up to others in a way that also welcomes the possibility of judgment, can lead anyone to a place of silence, secrecy, and shame. This protective strategy is a “relational paradox” because the very thing that would help us heal, vulnerability, is what we can actively avoid in hopes of protecting ourselves and the relationships we so deeply care about. Often, this is the place I begin with clients. We start with unpacking how their own “relational paradox” has been incredibly adaptive (and typically a protective strategy) yet is no longer helping them live a life in line with their values. Together, we work to implement new coping skills and draw from their inner bravery and courage to find healing, connection, and joy.
