    (she/her/hers)

Taylor is a great fit for adolescents and young adults who want a therapist who feels real, down-to-earth, and easy to talk to. Her sessions balance reflection and humor, creating space for clients to explore who they are without judgment or pressure to have it all figured out.

Taylor often works with clients navigating anxiety, overthinking, or the stress of feeling “different” or misunderstood. Many of her clients are exploring identity, learning more about their neurodivergence, or adjusting to major life changes like starting high school, college, or early adulthood. Her approach helps clients build insight, develop emotional awareness, and practice self-compassion in a world that often demands perfection.

With a background in Cognitive Studies and Special Education from Vanderbilt University and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lipscomb University, Taylor brings both curiosity and care to her work. She offers in-person sessions in Brentwood and telehealth appointments across Tennessee.

  • Courtney Cordell

    LPC-MHSP (Temp)

    (she/her)

Courtney is a grounding presence for children, teens, and caregivers who want support that feels warm, real, and attuned. Her sessions blend gentle structure with genuine connection, helping families move from “everything feels too big” to “we can handle this together.” Clients describe her as steady, comforting, and deeply validating.

Courtney often works with kids navigating anxiety, emotional regulation, trauma, school stress, and social challenges. She also supports caregivers who are overwhelmed by the day-to-day demands of parenting, and she offers compassionate care for those experiencing postpartum depression and anxiety, infertility, and pregnancy or infant loss. Her approach honors that grief, identity shifts, and family transitions are layered, and she creates space for clients to feel understood without pressure to be “okay” before they are ready.

Before becoming a therapist, Courtney spent three years in an early childhood classroom supporting infants through six-year-olds and their caregivers. Those years taught her how to co-regulate in real time, meet families in the trenches, and translate big feelings into developmentally appropriate skills. She brings that same presence into the therapy room, weaving together practical tools, play and creativity, and caregiver collaboration so that what happens in session becomes meaningful at home.

Courtney holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Belmont University and completed her clinical internship at Recovery Unplugged, where she learned to integrate evidence-based care with a deeply human, relational approach. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Mississippi. Courtney is a pre-licensed therapist practicing under the clinical supervision of Laura Hamilton, LPC-MHSP (TN License #3997), and she offers both in-person and online sessions across Tennessee.
