About Taylor:
Before becoming a therapist, I studied Cognitive Studies and Special Education at Vanderbilt University, where I learned how people grow, adapt, and make sense of their experiences. That curiosity about how the mind and heart work together is what first pulled me into this field, and it still shapes the way I sit with clients today.
I have always known that I wanted to be a therapist. There is something deeply meaningful about sitting with someone in the middle of the messy, confusing, and often tender parts of life and helping them untangle it. My style is collaborative and genuine, and I try to bring humor into the room when it fits. Sometimes laughter is what lets us finally take a breath.
I work with adolescents and young adults who are navigating anxiety, identity, trauma, or big life transitions. Many of my clients are figuring out who they are and what it means to show up in the world as their true selves. Others are learning more about their neurodivergence or finding ways to care for themselves in a world that asks for a lot. My goal is to help you build understanding and compassion for yourself, not more judgment.
I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lipscomb University, where I trained to combine evidence-based tools with a human, relational approach. I offer both in-person and online therapy sessions to keep support accessible and flexible for your needs.
